If you don’t there’s a possibility that no one will buy your products or services. This is a very common mistake that should be avoided. Take time to understand your audience.

4.       Don’t be scared of failure:  You’re more likely to fail if you become scared of failure. If we’re being honest it only builds your character and your business. It often leads to success.

5.       Avoid relying on yourself: You won’t always get everything right so you should never be scared to ask for help from others. It only makes your life easier and makes running a business a smooth sail. There are business advisors and Freelancers who are always willing to help.

6.       Avoid making partnerships with the wrong people: Do your research on where you want to invest. You certainly do not want to find yourself with a bunch of scammers.

7.       Underestimating capital requirements: It’s important to know how much you will need to start a business. You do not want to stop operating because you simply do not have enough capital to continue. Research is a must when starting a business.

8.       Giving yourself and your employees the wrong salary: Choose an amount(s) that will be consistent depending on the revenue of the business at that moment. For example, the salary shouldn’t change every month because you’re the CEO and you feel like doing it. No, it doesn’t work like that.

9.       Launching too quickly: Make sure you’re confident with your business plan before launching. Don’t be in a hurry to make money. You’ll get disappointed.

10.   Not creating a marketing plan: It’s important to know how you’re going to get your business out there. In order to get your first client you need to start promoting it on the right platforms. A lot of people use social media.
